Laboratories and quality control are a very important department in the cement industry, as it analyzes samples at all stages of production in order to obtain a product conforming to Libyan Standard Specification 340/97. The laboratories department consists of:
Chemical laboratory
It is the basis for analyzing chemical ratios and must be equipped with the necessary capabilities to perform tests that are not analyzed on an X-ray device. The most important tests carried out by the chemical laboratory are:
Free lime percentage
Loss on ignition
Insoluble residues
X-ray machineX-ray
It analyzes hourly and aggregate samples to control the mixtures entering the oven and the product by controlling parameters and oxides and analyzing samples of raw materials supplied to the factory.
Controlled Neutron Analyzer
Through it, materials passing by on the conveyor belt for transporting materials from the main crusher basin to the raw materials store are analyzed in real time, and these analyzes are carried out at a rate of once every two minutes.
