The cement factory ceased production in 1982 as a result of technical issues, but service was restored in 1993 following comprehensive maintenance operations and further development. Following the recommencement of production, the imported bauxite originally used as a basic raw material was replaced with locally available clay material, making all materials for the production process totally locally sourced.
